Tropical Paradise
Often described as heaven on earth, the island of Mauritius can be viewed as most people’s idea of a tropical paradise. For the water lovers of you out there, the Magic Sails Catamaran Cruise is highly recommended. Lasting for three days, you are taken around some of Mauritius’ most beautiful sites, as well as a number of its hidden lagoons.
To get the best view of the island, why not sign yourself up for some of the hikes available? Not only will you be able to experience the stunning natural beauty first-hand, but you will also be privy to witnessing the vast array of exotic wildlife that can be found, such as the rare pink pigeon, giant fruit bats and monkeys. The Black River Gorges National Park in the west of the island is particularly good for hiking opportunities.
Golf is another popular way to pass time on your Mauritius holidays. Indeed, many of the hotels offer up impressive golf courses, meaning you can simply pick your favourite before working on improving your swing! Cited as the most impressive, the Le Touessrok Golf Course is situated on its own private island and is surrounded by sandy beaches and forested mountains - what more could a golfer ask for?
From hiking and deep-sea fishing to relaxing on one of the many golf courses across Mauritius, a holiday to this tropical paradise offers everything one could ever ask for on a luxury holiday.
